Hi everyone!!!

We did a place value review up to Hundred Thousands place; However, I created this product so younger grades can also use it. Deep in the Heart of Texas Blog Hop

Welcome to the "Deep in the Heart of Texas" blog hop!  Over 40 Texas teacher bloggers have joined together to share what we love about our state as well as ideas and freebies that we love.  You will also have the opportunity to enter to win TpT products and/or TpT gift certificates by entering using the rafflecopters included in each post.  Down at the bottom, you will see all of the blogs participating in the hop.  Just click and you will be taken to their posts.  We hope you love what you find.  Happy Valentine's Day!

As you know I am Mrs. Nicolau. I am originally from Peru, but I have been living in the United States for 13 years now (Wow!!! Time DOES fly!!). I have been living in Killeen/Ft. Hood for almost 8 years now and I just loveeeee Texas!!! I have previously lived in another state and let me tell you, I don't want to leave this great state, I just love living here!!!
I have taught 2nd and 3rd in a Bilingual school, so you'll see all my products in both English and Spanish. As of right now, I am very lucky to be able to stay home this year with  my now 9-month old baby. so I am working more on unfinished projects and saved ideas that I had when I was teaching.

Where I live is basically a military town. My husband was stationed here and when we met we decided to settle here since it's a small city and it keeps on growing!!! It is in Central Texas so the bigger cities are really closed by, we love driving to other places and getting to know the state. However, my small town has the biggest military base in the United States, so when we have friends and family coming over we sure take them to see the base and show them around!

I really like most of my lessons and activities I have; However, I have to admit that I just love my Mustache unit. that has been created for 2nd and 3rd grades. There is something about mustaches that my students loved!!! They think it's so funny and they enjoy the "store" area.. they think it's hilarious!! As I mentioned above, I am a Bilingual teacher so my products come in both English and Spanish. Click on the front cover of my product to see and find more about it! :)

Along with my mustache unit above, I created a freebie to go along with it; they loved and giggled so much when taking a picture with the mustache on! Click on the following link Writing Freebie
